Unit 1- Learner- Centered Psychological Principles
From the module on Learner-Centered Psychological Principles, I realized that Learner Centered is a perspective that couples on a focus of individual learners their heredity, experiences, perspectives, talents, interests and capacities. It is also about learners decisions regarding how they will learn, what they learn and how the learning will be assessed. Advances in our understanding of thinking, memory and cognitive and motivational processes can contribute directly to improvements in teaching, learning and the whole enterprise of schooling. The Learner-Centered principles are consistent with more than a century of research on teaching and learning. Provide a framework developing and incorporating the components of new design for schooling.
